When religious extremists crash into planes and bomb trains and public places, we have to start asking why. Religions claim that they know the truth and yet when we look deeper into our history, into the evidence on which we base our knowledge, we find that religions are not divine. Religions, religious beliefs and scriptures do not come from god, gods or anything out of this world. They are invented by people. In an attempt overcome ignorance and/or control masses of human beings, religious doctrines and beliefs remain the cause of so much pain and suffering to many the world over. We have the choice to make a change. We can start by asking questions.
